Welcome to Episode One of the SustainaDAO podcast. Our first guest is Jimmy Shi, Venture Partner of BlueRun Ventures China. In this episode, Jimmy shares his experience as a former entrepreneur and current investor in Blockchain and Web3 companies, offers his views on how this down economy and the years to come may shape the companies he invests in, and hopes that up and coming entrepreneurs will heed his advice as an experienced player in these developing spaces.

Jimmy Shi joined BlueRun Ventures in 2019 and is based in Beijing. He focuses on early-stage investment in corporate services and hard technology. Jimmy used to serve as a global R&D executive at Oracle in the United States and led a multinational R&D team dedicated to product R&D in the fields of middleware, mobile databases, and converged communications. He was also responsible for the global market expansion and customer operation management for relevant products. He has over ten years of experience in the IT industry and multinational enterprise management. Jimmy founded Duomi Music, which has become a leading company in the field of independent mobile music services with a DAU of over 7 million. Jimmy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
